A plate search does not reveal DMV owner records or your private contact details. DashChat checks for a vehicle claimed on its network. Your public username and any profile or vehicle details you choose to show may be visible. Someone can send one initial message in a conversation; they cannot continue unless you accept. You can block or report a sender and control whether your vehicle accepts messages.
