Terms of Service
Effective August 27, 2026
1. Using DashChat
DashChat provides vehicle search, vehicle profiles, claims, messaging, and related driver-to-driver communication features. You agree to use the service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.
3. Vehicle claims
You may only claim or represent a vehicle when you have a legitimate right to do so. DashChat may request additional verification or remove claims that appear fraudulent, inaccurate, or disputed.
4. Vehicle lookup data
Vehicle lookup information may come from third-party data providers. DashChat does not guarantee that a plate will return a result or that vehicle information is complete, current, or accurate.
5. Messaging
You may not use DashChat messaging to harass, threaten, stalk, defraud, spam, intimidate, or repeatedly contact another user against their wishes.
6. Lookup credits and paid features
DashChat may offer free or paid lookup credits, subscriptions, or other features. Pricing, limits, expiration, and refund rules may be shown at the time of purchase or use and may change as the beta evolves.
7. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant DashChat the rights necessary to host, display, process, and operate that content as part of the service.
8. Safety and emergencies
DashChat is not an emergency service and should not be relied on for urgent safety, law enforcement, roadside emergency, or emergency-response needs.
9. Suspension and termination
DashChat may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, fraud, violations of these Terms, safety concerns, or other conduct that threatens the service or its users.
10. Beta service
DashChat may be offered as a beta service. Features may change, fail, become unavailable, or be discontinued. You use beta features with that understanding.
11. Disclaimers
DashChat is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, accuracy of vehicle data, or successful delivery or response to messages.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DashChat and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
13. Changes
These Terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
