DashChat works best when driver-to-driver communication is helpful, relevant, and wanted.
1. Use DashChat for legitimate driver-to-driver communication
Examples include vehicle questions, helpful alerts, parking or access requests, and respectful social connections.
2. No harassment or repeated unwanted contact
Do not threaten, intimidate, bully, stalk, sexually harass, or repeatedly contact another person after they have asked you to stop or blocked you.
3. No attempts to uncover or publish private information
Do not use DashChat to obtain, share, or solicit a person’s private address, phone number, financial information, credentials, or other sensitive information.
4. No impersonation or deceptive profiles
Do not pretend to own a vehicle you do not own or impersonate another person or organization.
5. No illegal, dangerous, or abusive use
Do not use DashChat to facilitate illegal activity, threats of violence, dangerous driving behavior, fraud, or other abuse.
6. Respect blocks, messaging controls, and boundaries
Do not attempt to bypass another user’s privacy, blocking, or messaging preferences.
7. Report problems
Use DashChat’s reporting tools or contact support if you believe someone is violating these guidelines.
